I found necklace at one of my local thrift shops today. It is signed sterling in several places and is signed with name F. Pini. I think it is a silver moonstone piece but im not sure that. If anyone out there has any info on this F. Pini i sure grateful for it.Thanks in advance.
Thanks so much for the information.I bought it because i thought it was beautiful and priced at only 10.00

Good golly gosh! $10.00. Almost unbelievable, but it's not 'cos you own this amazing piece of jewelry. Magnificent. Congratulations!
Thank for the kind words.
Could it be G. CINI? Looks like same cherubs he used.

F (Ferruccio) Pini was my grandfather. I never knew him, but I am always searching for his pieces. They help me feel closer to him. He left Washington DC and went back to Florence Italy where he died in June 1963 (the week I was born) My mother is his only surviving child, she is now in her 80s. It's a beautiful piece! Thank you for posting it. I love being able to look at something my grandfather made.
Your grandfather made my mother's engagement ring in 1956. I have some letters between the two of them in his beautiful handwriting. If you give me a way to share them privately, I'm happy to send photographs of the ring, the box it came in, and the letters. We cherish the ring, and she has now given it to me. Amazing that I've been able to find you! My email is hdmtarleton@gmail.com
