Found this at goodwill a few years ago. It’s very heavy, with a beautiful matte glaze. It’s unmarked but it seems to be in the Roseville 157 bowl shape , but with additional scroll design I can’t seem to track. Would anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
That should have read 152 series, sorry!
Zanesville.
Thank you! I think maybe Norwalk line for The Old Pot Shop in Norwalk Connecticut. But I have yet to see anything exactly like this, and believe me I have looked!
I'm running on memory here - I don't have the Zanesville book - maybe art.pottery, or one of the other knowledgeable contributors will weigh in. I recall a Zansville line of bulb pans, some with buttressed feet, some without, that had a similar scroll and panel decor. Most, if not all, of the Norwalk pieces I have seen were clearly marked.
Thanks! Saw this on eBay and this made me think Norwalk. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Large-Vintage-Zanesville-Norwalk-Art-Pottery-Homespun-Jardiniere-Planter-Vase-/142789679602
seems many potters made very similar shape and color of the low bulb bowls. Several online listings have this one noted as Red Wing:

should note that the glazing differs on these so possibly a lookalike competitor...
