Just wanting more information about this lamp and history. Not looking to sell or appraise. I bought it on resale by accident not realizing what it was, and when I got it home realized the face on the top which had me curious. I have been trying to research with very little information coming up. I would appreciate any information about history or meaning.

Thank you, Keramikos. Yes, it does have a patent number and does say Rembrandt. I thought I'd added that is the originally, but see now that I did not. I will look and add that when I get home.

Also, I have noticed that most that come up in searching don't have the ears like the one on this particular lamp.

Keramikos, the bottom of the lamp base reads: "Rembrandt PAT APP FOR R7047"

Keramikos, Thank you so much. All this info is very helpful. I am incredibly intrigued that the company burned and is no more. I hadn't run across that bit of info yet. Getting ready to dig in for more research. Thank you again for all your help. I guess I was hoping for some history on the artist and what went into their idea for this particular lamp. Wish there was more info on the background of the company. So appreciative of your time.
