Some nitwit used a modern clasp and GLUED it onto the copper. Marks can be seen where the original clasp was attached. My question is this: Modern or early 1900s? I have been told it is 1960s. Someone has the nerve to say the brooch was poorly made - what!! The cobalt blue enamel is VERY glassy in appearance, just like my Victorian/Edwardian cobalt blue enamel and seed pearl pendant I posted last year. Does the formula/appearance of enamel change over the years?
Thanks for any info!

Hi Bonnie!
Agree with Valentino, perhaps a Limoges piece.
The repair at least makes the charming bird wearable again! You can't solder on enamel, glue is the only option :-/
