I grabbed this last week - I was lucky, hadn't been listed long and it was up for offers. So offer accepted and delivered promptly from France. It was interesting because, although I knew it must be Loetz from the handles alone, I had not come across this style of enameling before. So off to Loetz.com to try to find it (I'm such an amateur sometimes) - and it was duly identified as Ausfuehrung 129 - I have no idea on PN, if anyone knows I'd be grateful for more details. Anyway, I'm not sure there is any 129s on CW, so I figure these are something of a rarity. It's a substantial piece and shows evidence of not just the enamel decoration but also of gold flowers around the neck and body, most of which have been lost over time. So a piece that was probably in domestic use as a vessel for actual real flowers - washed and stored for ... maybe.... another Valentine's Day!!!
    Stands 8" (19.5cm) and about 6" (16cm) in diametre.

Just noticed that Warren has one listed here.

Sammyz - Handles are amazing - you're right, but so much more about the Ausf décors are amazing and many missed IDd as Loetz by sellers: Makes hunting for them fun!

What a terrific piece, Phil. Good for you for grabbing it! I also saw the Mackintosh roses right away; I think it is a beautiful form of decoration. :)

I may have found the PN number for this piece. I think it is PN II/8081. The paper pattern is missing in the book but it lists this pn number as Ausf 129 in saatgrun made for Neurath & Klein Vienna 1911. PN II/8082 is pictured and it looks like your vase with the 3 handles and is made for the same customer, but in opalviolet. Need to verify with experts, but I think this is it.
