Wonderful compliments Broochman thanks so much, I was very lucky to find this beautiful butterfly and yes Regency did make very stylish ones, I esp love the little square feelers over the head
Lol Thomas, yes it's a free flying butterfly, and unlike the real ones it will live past one day! Many thanks for your great words & love that Elton song
Thank you Maureen, I agree the colors are a great combo, and they look even better under darker lights (but won't photograph as well in my house lol), if you want to see what I mean punch Gems of Costume Jewelry in the CW search box, someone posted pages from the book and my butterfly is there, enjoy
Thanks MrsT it's true, just a couple color shades different are very compatible in this piece, appreciate your wonderful compliments
Phil it's one of the prettiest butterfly brooches I own but I always appreciate seeing others posted here, how sad is it that the real ones are only around for a day, so most of these beauties are invented color combos :( Great words as always thanks so much
Super compliment Mary, I was really lucky to find this beautiful Regency piece & had no idea it was in the book til later, thank you for the wonderful words and the love XO

Many thanks raven for the kind love and appreciation
This is such a beautiful butterfly. I really love the colour. Though I mostly have Sherman pieces, I do think the Regency butterflies are among the most attractive of any.
Many thanks for the thoughtful love

Thank you Dawn for your super praise for this Regency butterfly, I think it is probably my favorite butterfly brooch both for design & the teal-blue coloring - being born in December one of that month's birthstones is blue zircon (teal) which may be why I like it :) I love Regency gems but find they stuck to their popular shapes so it's a little hard to find different types that I like, but I'm always looking!
What a gorgeous, gorgeous, brilliant cyan butterfly!
Eye-popping is the word for sure.
And such an elegantly-designed vintage piece, too. Everything about it is lovely.
Congratulations on such an exceptional piece!
Thank you so much rhineisfine for your beautiful compliments & love for this Regency butterfly, this is probably my absolute fave butterfly in my collection & was a very lucky find...seeing it in a book later was really exciting too. I adore those gorgeous blue-green rhinestones which sparkle at every turn.
Thank you roddyq for the love for this Regency butterfly, I am really glad you liked it and appreciate your kind consideration
Thank you vcal and Giana for the love for this butterfly and other posts of mine today, as always it's very kind of you and most gratefully appreciated
