I've always wanted a piece of Cloissonne which is enamel ware, metal on metal decorated but this is a modern version and I saw it in a boot sale this morning.

Cute little wood stand and all for £2,00. I'll put my keys in it.

Very nice, millefiori hand painted motif on a ceramic bowl. It is Chinese. The base should be white. Cloisonne items were also made with this variation of motif they called 'a thousand flowers'. Thanks for posting it.

I'm on a facebook group about antiques and they seem to think its not Cloissonne but a common 80s ceramic. I dont really care cos I love it and thats what collecting is all about. I'm also close to my 4ooth item posted.
