Although this little beauty needs some fixing, I had to give it a new home in my collection of costume jewellery brooches. As you can see in the second picture, the safety clasp needs to be repaired. This is no problem because I have a box of of broken jewellery I use for "spare parts", like missing rhinestones, pins, and other parts.
There is no mark on the brooch but I would date it to around the 1950's.

Thanks so much for your comments, ladies! This brooch was the first one of its kind I have ever seen. After purchasing it, I searched online and found only a handful more. I wish I knew who made it.
