Some collectors have a very focused collection. My taste is eclectic. I recently saw this brooch at a little antique shop I used to frequent more often as it was on the way I used to go frequently. Now, I hardly ever go there. But when I stopped in my favorite seller had this old piece and the price was right for me. The yellow crystals are very bright and sparkling and the whole effect reminded me of early Eisenberg. The piece is 3 and 3/4" long so I think it is from the late 1930s. The rather heavy way the prongs are done on the crystals also confirms this for me. No signature and a few rhinestones were missing, but have been replaced. One rhinestone is dark but I couldn't get it out, so it is there for now.
What a beautiful deco piece, the yellow & white stones are gorgeous together & the design is really lovely - congrats on a super find
Very nice find!
valentino97, Broochman, Mrstyndall, Ms.CrystalShip, and Newfld, thanks for your enthusiatic comments and likes. I appreciate it!
The yellow stones and the way they protrude from the stem are so pretty.
Do you still think it's by Eisenberg?
An oldie but goodie and I mean that in the nicest way Maureen!
Ken, she did state it reminded her of Eisenberg and your instincts are right as it appears to be. If not? Beautiful true vintage nearing Antique!
