This was displayed at my grandparents home and when they passed away two decades ago it appeared at my parents home. I have always loved this piece from childhood until now. My father passed away 7 years ago and now I have possession of this extremely heavy but beautiful horse. The backstory is my grandparents were on vacation sometime in the 50's or 60's visiting Paris, France when they purchased this art. There's a name written on the back but would an artist write their name in ink on their artwork?

Probably the name of the art dealer or person who consigned it for sale. The artist would have signed the front and there is no signature on the front.
