Or maybe they're "unisex"...??? I dunno (and don't really care?) these two have also been languishing somewhere in a drawer for most of the past couple decades. I also have little/no idea how much older they might be beyond that, although I do kinda think I actually bought the copper one "new" at some sorta festival/craft fair back arounds then -- the brass one more likely came from a junk store or someplace.
Both roughly 2" x 3" overall and ~3/8" wide, the brass one slightly wider. The copper one has a "twisted wire" profile and the brass one a "twisted and rolled wire" profile. No marks whatsoever on the brass one, the copper one is stamped "copper" with a tiny rectangularish shape near one end, I can't tell if the shape is a maker's mark or if so what it might say/mean.
These were sometimes made for therapeutic reasons.
THANKS SO MUCH Collectables59, MsCrystalShip, Vynil33rpm, fortapache, jscott0363, Brunswick, & aura for your kind comments and <love it>s!! :-) :-) :-)
Frankly the 'therapeutic' angle hadn't occurred to me for these, but y'all DO have a valid point I suppose...with a little further thought I have seen various copper jewelry advertised and sold as such.
