Here's an interesting piece of fabric which came with the two old carpets i got the other day. I just love ethnic fabric and have so much of it. Does anyone know anything about this piece?

Can't tell you anything about it other than that I like it, and somewhere or other around here I have something kinda similarly woven and colored (though probably newer, not nearly as finely made, and about half the length of yours) which came to me in the early 1990's as a 'wall art' item from a garage sale, fitted to a small wooden stretcher strip with a hanger string attached to its ends. Yours is maybe meant more as a table runner or something??
