I'm sure any odd teenage MissWebcor of the time would have been SO PROUD that her daddy bought it for her?!! :-) I'm curious -- is it actually '2ch stereo' or just 'mono with two speakers' and for that matter, does its amp have tubes or is it 'solid state'?

Hi, AO...this is actually my friend's player. He tells me that it is a 2 channel stereo, and the amp has 2 tubes.. He also says that there is a "buzz" in it that he can not figure what the source of that is. And he tells me that one of the speakers has been replaced.

It is a grand example of 50s technology!
