Some time ago I bought this brooch for 20 USD . It was very dirty and after cleaning I suppose it is made of silver. There are 2 different little stones. Of one I believe they are turqois and the others could be garnet. I have no idea if I'm right it is an Austro Hungarian brooch. I think it could be made in 1880-1900? Although it has a trompet clasp but that could be from a later time. Please give me a clue!
Dear collectors, I'v had very nice lovings and likes on this brooch. But up till now no comments. Please can anybody give me a clue if I'm right in assuming that this could be an Austria-Hungarian brooch?
Agram.m, you are correct in your findings that it is Austro- Hungarian as I am a collector of that also. Its a lovely brooch and very elegant...thanks for sharing :)
Unfortunately I only know that it is beautiful. Moonstone knows her stuff so if she agrees with you...
And my nose would be pressed against the glass knocking trying to get in!
But I would be stuffing my pockets, smuggling treasures : ))
Nah, I'm slick : ))
