These little (2"h) aluminum cans with tightly sealing screw on tops are both embossed _KODAK_ on their sides, and first held rolls of KODAK film. I believe the different color schemes of the cans/lids was an indicator of different types/speeds of camera film that would have been sold in them, but I'm not totally certain of that or, in fact, if the lids on these haven't been switched around sometime long ago.
Guessing they're 1950's-60's vintage, they were already sorta 'old' when I first found them somewhere when I was a kid, by which time new camera film came in plain little plastic canisters instead...
THANKS purvis, jscott0363, Brunswick, valentino97, Newfld, & fortapache for stopping by and leaving your <love it>s!! :-) :-) :-)
