I bought this santa at a yard sale, i absolutely fell in love with him, and put him on display every Christmas since. I am looking to learn more about him (how old? where he's from?), upon many attempts at searching online came up empty handed.
He has no visible stamps/markings. Thinking he may be old? (he is a cardboard cone structure that allows him to stand, the tape holding the cardboard cone underneath is yellowed and cone shows wear/use) About 2 and half feet tall with beautiful velveteen cloak and coarse horsehair-like beard with pinecones, wood staff and birds. He is beautiful, when people visiting my home comment/ask about him, i would love to know some of his history!
If anyone could provide me with any information/leads as to where i can search, i would really love to hear! thank you!
