This plate has a lovely maiden riding a very fancy horse and some really long flowers in her hands and growing out of her head. I can't read the bottom except for STAVANGERFLINT. or something like that.
Kari Nyquist (the ceramist) Wall Plate Bride Woman on Horse. A Scandinavian modern wedding plate. Vintage plate from the 1950s that is apparently from a set with the other plate having the groom. Stavangerflint AS was the company she worked for.
Thought it was the highly collectible Figgio flint when I saw this piece, but Stavangerflint and Figgio merged in 1968. Kari Nyquist can tellus if “flint” means china in the Norwegian language

Oops, I meant maybe Spatz can tell us what flint means in Norwegian!
I believe it means bald in Swedish
