    This 3" emerald green glass shamrock has a traditional Irish blessing message written on its box, and is by Roman dated 1978. The 4" ceramic leprechaun on leaf is also an Irish trinket, in lovely pastel colors and marked Shamrock Pottery made in Ireland

      Along with the harp (the official symbol of Ireland) I think the Shamrock is the most beautiful- even though it is just a little weed! The little leprechaun in it reminds me of thumbelina, I think sitting on a lily pad except to see one of these guys can have a slightly more mischievous or even sinister connotation. :)
