We brought this beautiful piece back from Germany. It was purchased at an antique auction haus and we know very little about it. It is extremely heavy and is two pieces-the cabinet and stand. The circular glass in each door is a light green. Any ideas or information would be greatly welcomed!

I don't see a lot of age on this. I'd think mid to late 20th century. Some photos of the drawer joints would be helpful to confirm.

It was very loved before we took ownership and we try and keep it up as well. I will add another picture with the drawer. They just slide in...no hardware. Thanks so much for looking.
The profile "carvings" of the man and woman have a cartoonish look which makes me think it is not very old.
Yes, you're right! They do appear cartoonish. LOL! I hadn't really noticed that. Thank you for your comment.
They also made a lot of furniture in the Netherlands also around the 1950's to 1970's which was similar and I love the lightly carved panels, and the hardware,, striking and beautiful.
I would guess 1970's. The hardware looks to have been made with a hydraulic press punch stamp. The carvings don't show any signs of chase marks which suggests they were done with a routcrafter, which is like a big pantograph that can be used to transfer an image on paper into a carved image simply by tracing the image and setting the depth of the cut as needed. Dovetails are machine cut with no locking top and bottom dovetail and no step down between the drawer face and side panel.
