    Ive been told that these small bowls are Chinese ink pots. They are only about 1.5 in x 1.5 in. Probably mid 1800's. Can anyone find the makers mark or confirm the description.

      I think these may be stamp holders part of a desk set made for the Western market, such as the UK and USA. Here is a link to a great site for Chinese and Japanese porcelain marks
