When I went to the thrift store, I found this brooch for $3. I noticed that it was signed but could not make it out. When I got home, I got my loupe and still couldn’t figure it out. So, I started doing a google search and found one. From what I found there was an article in the 1989 New York Times about shops in New Orleans, where one was selling jewelry from a line called Irafa (stands for I'm really a fine artist). These were designed by Larry Nast. There are a couple pieces by this artist on EBay. Have any of you CW collectors ever heard of this brand?
Great dancer pose, really conveys fluid motion - very nice!
Absolutely wonderful !~
Jenni, thanks! Glad you like!
Phil, thank you ;)
Nice! Very graceful piece. Maybe a "she", though?
