Hello everyone!!
I recently added this cast iron "Rabbit with Top Hat" or "Gentleman Rabbit" doorstop to my collection. He was cast in the early 1900's by the Albany Foundry. This one is numbered "94" as you can see in pic #4. He measures 9 7/8" tall and 4 3/4" at it's widest point. I have 4 of these fellows in my collection now. They were available from Albany Foundry painted, unpainted and gold painted, as this one is. Two of my others are painted and one of mine is unpainted. These were also produced by National Foundry and theirs were numbered "89".
Thanks for stopping in for a look!!!

So which one Doorstop is your oldest..to-date Scott
He's wonderful, a golden delight!
Thanks Gary!! I have a forward facing Boston Bull Terrier that was made between 1890 and 1900. That would be my oldest for sure.
