Does anyone know this makers signature and the age of this lamp? I have a large vase signed the same in the same pattern. They were given to me and I may need an appraisal. No chips , cracks a or scratches in either piece.

The mark looks like something that an owner would add to valuables in order to recognize it or identify it if it was stolen. The lamp would date 1920+

Agree with you Bob, often we see these names, sometimes a series of numbers, it that was an insurance trend to mark you valuables with a special pen, in case of robbery. Today we find them and people have forgotten about that possibility that it is not a signature of the maker.

I have been searching for this forever. I have same signature not acid etched into a punch bowl
That I think was originally a lamp I can’t find anything online with this many patterns. Please please email me at aphexrubypickletwin@gmail.com I would love to know a definite history!
