This is a Douglass plane made in New York that is documented as last working in 1799 only.This beautiful piece is a piece of word working history. This tool was sold in April of 2004 for $350.00 to my grandfather at the M.J. Donnelly tool auction
It has been almost two decades since it was sold. This is a sash molding plane made out of beautiful mahagony.
