I love Fenichel jewelry. It was only manufactured from the late 1920’s to mid 1950’s by Louis Fenichel. Attached is a short article I found on the company and Louis. http://www.milkywayjewels.com/fenichel_figs/fenichel_article.html
These two Fenichel pieces were an accidental “marriage”. The blue rhinestones in the choker are amazing! I was thrilled that there was just one teeny chip in one of the stones at the back. At this age, I don’t expect perfection! Then along came the sweater clip, that appears to have never been used. It is perfect. Now, am afraid to wear it. Just took one photo of the clip as it is heavy and wouldn’t stay in place.
The hunt is on for a matching bracelet and earrings...some day!
That is just gorgeous! I have to be so bold as to say don't be afraid to wear it! Do so every chance you get!!!
Thank you everyone for taking a look and your comments! My hunt for matching pieces will continue. And I will try to be brave enough to wear it without fretting over whether I will do something dumb and lose it. I’m glad y’all enjoyed the bit of Fenichel history. It was impressive to me that actual people set the stones and made the jewelry rather than mass produced.
