I picked this up recently for peanuts because purple always attracts my attention. It is not marked anywhere and has a closed back. It appears the stones are probably glass, not rhinestones. It is very heavy.

Tried to find an idea of the maker based on the pattern on the back...like 1928 jewelry...but was unsuccessful. Maybe it’s newer? I have no idea. Your input is greatly appreciated!

It looks to me like the pattern for 1928 jewelry. That's no help! Sorry!

      MadamMisty and Ms.CrystalShip:
I believe you are both right. The pattern on the back reminded me of 1928, but was a bit different. So I dug out some of my old 1980’s 1928. Some of it is similar, some more flowery. This was the pendant only with no hang tag or chain. So 1928 it is and mystery solved! Even though it seems newer, it is still really pretty.

Thank you to MadamMisty and Ms.CrystalShip for the 1928 confirmation. That’s why I love this board. The many helpful clues prompt one to do further research on so many things!

Ms.CrystalShip thank you, Eileen! Feel free to call me Terry. I do appreciate your comments. I do enjoy this board so much, but it can be addictive and I am running behind on my “thank you’s“ to everybody. I’ve had a sick African Grey the past month who was under “palliative care” until last week, taxes for my Mom, working on ours...this is my escape!
