Curious to know if anyone has seen a Mother of Pearl necklace like this before? It's ice cold to the touch. I feel like it's most likely dyed but I just don't know. I've had this one for about a year, maybe 2 and never worn it, even though it hangs nicely.
Then about 2 months ago was at one of my shop spots and found this crazy long strand, 80 inches, of tiger eye chunks for 7 bucks. I guess no one thought it was real but it is. I've worn this one, wrap it around just 3 times and it's good to go!

Mary! I thought that's what it was !!! Someone has suggested sugilite to me... no. In my mind I thought the only thing it could be was dyed MOP!!! And yes, the clasp is basically a button thru a ring. When I saw the tigers eye... I knew they didn't know what they had. Have you seen the unbelievable prices on 1st dibbs??? I can't believe people actually buy there but... I suppose there is a place for everyone! Better them than me!
