This was in the unfinished basement of our 1920's home when we purchased it 16 years ago. We'd like to know more about it, but we haven't found much information. We have seen one photo of similar burners/controls/tank without the stand and it was called a hotplate...
It has a fuel tank that can be pressurized. There is a metal plate that says Coleman in raised lettering in the middle. We are "outdoorsy" people, so the Coleman name means a lot to us. We weren't sure if it was for home use or early camping, so we weren't sure what category it should be in.
