This vase is 14" high. It has a chevron or feather pattern often used by Jefferson Glass and other makers, but I have't been able to find one just like it. I gave it a cursory cleaning but it has some rust spots which I haven't dealt with yet. I think a soak in CLR (Calcium/Lime/Rust) remover should clean it up. Any opinions on maker welcome. I think it qualifies as EAPG.

I wold use Zud.. just wet it with water ..rub on some Zud .. 1 min later all gone ...i use it's all gone .. no mess and works like a charm on rust..

Thanks for your comment Roycroftbooksfromme1. The rust is on the inside of the vase, so it is not rubbable. CLR dissolves in water and doesn't require any rubbing, just soaking. I've used it for years for applications like this.

Zud will do the same as your CLR,... really don't need to rub it, But I do on some things ,,,it will dissolves as well in water .. later bud..
hope that it only a surface film causing the cloudiness, which is removable using various cleaning agents, rather that 'sick glass' which is when the glass surface is deteriorated/eroded, and requires polishing to repair.

@Tallcakes - I hope so, too! I finally decided to get a set of good bottle cleaning brushes because of this vase!

FYI, the cloudiness cleaned up easily using a couple of treatments of denture cleaning tablets which I keep on hand for cleaning out my wine decanters. Waiting on my new set of bottle brushes before taking on the rust spots. The denture tablets did also reduce, but didn't remove, the rust spots.
I will update the photos once I have it cleaned up.

only thing I've found on this one is that it's called 'Feather Plume Panels' and the maker is unknown...
Thanks, TallCakes! I've found the term "feather plumed" or feather paneled", etc., applied to vases by several different makers, so assume you mean it is a generic term for this style. That led me on a couple of wild goose chases....
many time these AKA titles are based on motif; thus feather plume and panels results in the AKA of 'Feather Plume Panels' . And the color would be considered sun purpled from spending lots of time in a sunny window, which affects the manganese content of the glass resulting in the lavender hues.
I have this vase in green uranium glass! Have you found any more info on the maker?
