Hi Collectors,
I found this at an estate sale at the last hour. It is in Gabriele Greindl's Gems of Csotume Jewelry. Her example has very shiny metal. This example has not polished to a bright color. It dates according to Griendl to the 1930s. It measures 2" by 2" and 1" deep. Since the pin is higher the the legs, I believe the legs push in to the material and it looks like it is clinging to you when it is worn.
Thanks for looking and liking!
Very nice!
I am with MrsT, very nice spider brooch, and your pictures show the piece here marvellously, well done.

I love the claw like clinging look to him and his little jewel eyes- like a real little beastie! :)
