Hi, Any info about this 10 1/2" high Duncan glass pitcher. I realize it is probably the reproduction, but I haven't had any luck with a black light (operator error!) and have seen a comment on ebay (I realize not a reliable source) that this pitcher has never been reproduced. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks!

I love the item but think you need to do a bunch of research. The faces look way to chalky to be original and the details are not well defined. Perhaps someone with experience with this item will pop in and reply. 1880's or 1950's I still like it.
it can be hard to see the slight green/yellow glow under black light; you must be in a DARK room and turn the glass under the light to see the glow at the glass edges and in the details. The reference I have that lists the forms that have been reproduced does not list the pitchers as being reproduced. The catalog sheet I've seen of Wright reproductions does not include a pitcher. And the reproductions by Imperial Glass for the Metropolitan Museum of Art are embossed MMA. The area where the satin glass meets the clear glass is a fuzzy non-distinct line at best as the originals were done with fuming, whereas the reproductions used liquid resulting in a defined line.
