Anyone have an idea on the pattern and the types of dishes/pieces these are? They were treasured by my 97 year old Nana who recently passed away. I’m just tying to find the history.

I also collected Noritake Nippon porcelain dinnerware and decorative pieces. The series of books by David Spain are also useful, he focused on their Art Deco style of decor, so these are the more traditional type that they made in dozens of styles and decors. We never found a list of patterns, just a few who were famous.

The gold garland decorations especially were plentiful and of their best pieces. The pieces on the right is a mayonnaise dish with it's spoon, the other could be any number of pickle or condiment plate in a basket shape.

Keramikos provided another good source for information and when these made. Thanks for posting.

Morimura Brothers was taken over by Noritake, and I believe you piece was made in around 1912 0r so, but below is a link to a free resource from the Noritake Collectors Guild of Australia. The word NIPPON roughly translates to JAPAN, and quality varies on pieces however yours are popular with collectors. I believe the one with the ladle is usually referred to as a mayonnaise bowl

Oops, I see that you already got most of that info!
