Here is one of 4 frames i picked up at a junk shop yesterday. I think that they are lemon-gilded. Regardless, they are beautiful old frames. I'm not sure about the prints / etchings in them yet. i may just replace them all and use the frames. Looks like a visit to the old time dentist office. no thanks!

These are awesome! And it's true, many times the frames are way more valuable than what's in them. Too bad they aren't originals, right?!
Fascinating picture, look at how many people watching or assisting the dentist - the poor patient, nobody in history has EVER enjoyed seeing the dentist lol!
