    This was given too my mother 70 years ago by her neighbor. She gave it to me 20 years ago.Ifound this reference plaque online.Uboat 88 was captured during ww1 and toured the US to drum up support for liberty bonds

      You should take a picture of that vase behind it, do you know anything about it? Does it have any marks? Great U-boat piece!

      I will post pictures of the vase and the markings on the bottom.I have another interesting vase that I believe was brought back from China in WW2.
