Central American rug??

Hi friends. This is my first post. I picked up this rug at an estate sale. It appears to be wool and cotton. It is fringed. I’m guessing it’s from Central America. It’s roughly 5x7. (A little longer but I don’t have the measurements with me. It is older. Would any of you please help me identify it’s origin? Many thanks!
