This is a beautiful 12 inch vase made very thick with a nice ground rim. The color is pink fine powders on a semi-opaque milk glass. The finish is bright flashed iridescence; looks especially cool on the shape. The truly interesting thing for me is how the shape resembles the work of the mystery zigzag vases that I posted under Jericho, it also has a striking resemblance to the decor that has been listed as pink marbled pieces in another listing. Lastly, the mark is the kind you most likely see on Ruckl pieces... so both the thickness and mark make me lean that way.

Interesting dilemma. Not that familiar with this color and this shape, your other posts help with the identification. I gotta tell you I had a pair of green iridescent bottle vases with the sterling silver rim dating 1908. Same shape as your pink one. Ruckl did not make decorative glass till after WWI, according to them.

Obviously this one is post war, interwar period. The last ring and foot shape are more common Ruckl attributes, the mark as well. Hard to say what they made during the 20 year period. A European collector told me by 1938 Ruckl was making military plane glass parts, for Nazi Germany. Thanks for the post Jericho.

Thank you, I think Ruckl is likely here because there is also a flat bowl with a variegated rim in a very similar if not exact decor. That shape is both a kralik shape and a Ruckl shape
