    This is the bottom of the brass casings. The little cup with the lid has lovely hand engraved etchings on both ends.

      These don't look thick enough nor do they have the primers in the bottom that would identify them as shell casings.

      If they are from shell brass, it appears that the brass was melted and poured to form these objects.
