Check out what I found at a local thrift store 2 days ago! A VERY RARE PATTERN from a 1950's California pottery company. It's called "Yellow Poppy", and currently, 4 sets of cups and saucers and 8 six inch bread and butter plates (which is what I got) can easily fetch $150.00. Not to shabby for a $20.00 purchase. Someone on Etsy has 4 salad plates (8") listed at $195.00 right now!
The company is "Franciscan" and îs very well known for its apple and desert rose patterns. I think this one is prettier.
All I can say is "cha ching."
