    I'd love to know more about this carved stone sculpture. it's extremely heavy - more than it looks like. i bought it from a friend who knows nothing about it, but thought it was from Costa Rica or 'someplace around there'. I'd love to see something similar. I'm somewhat skeptical. thank you!

      I have had and still have items from Guatemala and the features are similar to this, especially the ear bobs, eyes and mouth. The appearance is common to Aztecs/Mayans items which I collected for a time. The way it is mounted would cause me to question whether it is a tourist item. If you are close to a college with an archeology department it might be worth having it examined.

      Uh Oh!!! You betta watch it! This could well be a fertility god!!! haha... I don't know but that's what these remind me of. I know I wouldn't touch it!!! You may have a harder time getting prego than me tho… LOL!!!
