I was hoping this Czech glass example would help further some identification but no, what was not highly remarkable on the Ebay images was the odd 90 degree angle shaped band on the bowl's base.
This one is not huge and the swirl decor is not combed in a deep manner leaving ribs, just lightly pressed back and forth. Interior layer is an opaque almond color, exterior is finished with a translucent tan glass layer. 7 inches at widest point and 6 inches high. Marked with the silver 'smile' Czechoslovakia, which I have attributed in the past to Ruckl, those few satin spatter glass pieces. Not all are believed to be Ruckl, and NOT this one. (last sentence edited for the members who need clarification, in spite of their own failures to do so themselves.) What do they say in the bible about this behavior? Never mind to complicated to explain.
Still have no certain opinion about this decor and/or the shape of this piece on this post .
Thank you for the love CW members, always appreciated.
