I came across some chicken (rooster) china. Everything that I have seen on line about these have the "hand painted" on the bottom BUT it also has "Nasco" and " Japan". I have about 6 pieces and all that is on the bottom is "hand painted". Maybe this is a dumb question but are these still also Nasco Japan?
    Thank you!

I don't think your pieces are Nasco. There seems to be numerous ways Nasco has been identified on vintage china.

Look through some of these pieces, look at their back stamps and you'll see what I mean.

Now the mystery thickens...if not Nasco, I wonder who made them?
      Thank you for responding.
