My husband bought me this from a local flea market for my birthday. They didn't know anything about it. It has wood shelves and glass on the front and sides. Doors have skeleton key locks and I have the key. Any idea how old this might be?

Well I'm far from being an expert, or anything close to one really. I have a feeling with the overall shape of the piece and the stockiness of the legs it's from the 1930's. Taking a closer look at the hardware used and how it was put together would give you a more accurate number though.

Thanks! It was the best gift ever! I had been looking for a bookcase for years. I bid on a few at auctions, but was outbid. I had almost given up on the search and this one popped up at a flea market a few blocks from my house. He paid $160. I just love it.
