Thanks Rose for your nice comment, I am glad to be able to show you a new glassmaker, Degenhart was started by an employee of Cambridge Glass in the late 40s & made some really nice items, esp these fluted covered dishes & other cool pieces
Thank you MrsT, it is sweet looking in the pink, the glass is almost iridescent & I thought a lamb Easter appropriate for this holiday
Phil thanks so much, I will have to look for those books, I'm a great collector of reference books I trust them even more than what you find in the 'net as the authors took their time researching, I learn so much about my collection from them. Great comment, many thanx!
Really appreciate the lovely compliments Eileen and I'm with you, just love the covered glass dishes, of course esp with a cute animal on the lid!
Thank you Sean for the kind & thoughtful love which is always super appreciated :)
Many thanks Pascale for the kind love and support, so glad you liked this
Thank you vcal for the love for this and other glass animals, very glad you liked it and always grateful for the kind support
So pretty!!
Thank you DejaVu for the love and fab compliment for this Degenhart lamb, isn't the pale pink pretty. This is a good sized heavy glass animal top dish, some of them are much smaller & more the salt cellar type
Thanks Giana & prettymollie for the love, so pleased that you liked this piece & appreciate your kind consideration
