Here's a lovely china doll that I found. She's about 20" tall. I tried identifying her based on her hairstyle, but the closest I could find would have been the Dolly Madison and she's not an exact match. I don't know if she's a repro or original. No marks anywhere. She does have crazing all over and I think I read that usually is a sign of repros. Either way, she's fabulous and I'm happy to add her to my collection.

She is a reproduction of China doll made in a ceramic doll making class , The antique elaborate hair style China dolls were named by hair styles and dated that way also . I have heard the name used a Eugenia for your mold head but that is not a official name .

Thanks, Manikin! I figured she wasn't an original, but it's nice to know for sure. She's still worth the $8 I paid, I think.
