I used to collect novelty salt and pepper pots, but stopped quite a long time ago, as I started collecting other stuff, but I couldn't resist these lovely pair of Siamese Cats. I've put them with my treasured Kangaroo set (my son gave it to me for Mothers Day so it's extra special). I did wonder if the same maker made them, but I'm not sure. The Kangaroo is marked Foreign, and could be from Japan, looking at some on line like them. The cats could be from Japan too, as a lot of similar ones say they come from there, though the only ones I found online like these turned out to be this actual cat set which the charity shop had tried to sell on ebay first (and failed).

Long neck porcelain cats. (mine was made in Italy) Didn't know they came in shakers tho. Since you used to collect them too, you do know that if you take out the stopper and the hole is not a perfectly round hole, it's a sure sign that it's older and hand made! This is a great set. I do grab some things I used to collect here and there just because it's so different! Good looking out!
