Vintage or Repro Blue Brooch

I found this pretty brooch at my local thrift store. I was attracted to the lovely blue color combined with the silver (I seem to have quite a few of that combination.) I can never tell though, whether this is a new brooch or a vintage one. Is there a way to tell if the brooch is not marked? I am always curious...
