      You can take it to a jeweler or a pawn shop, and they can test it and tell you whether or not if it is gold, and what it is. That is the only way. Looking at photos is just guess work.

      18k gold is a very different color than 14k gold. It has more yellow to it if that's your question. and yes, take it to a jeweler or get yourself a gold testing kit but make sure you learn to use it first. They can be very harmful if you don't know what you are doing! Stay safe. You tube has video's on just about everything, so I would watch a few first.
