When I was little in the late 50's - early 60's - I use to stand in my grandmothers house and watch the balls turn on this clock. So I got it when she died. I have always been curious about it trying to find any that look like it - etc. We had a coke plant in our small town in the 60's - and I assume the people that owned it - gave to it my grandparents. It doesn't work - but I have wanted to try to find a clock repairer to see if he could get it back to working. But just never have looked for one. Still has the big key to wind it. I have always loved this clock.

A lovely piece, I agree. It's an anniversary mantle clock, one of three styles that the Coca-Cola Co. offered bottlers during the 1950's. Yours is the "Princess" version showing enameled dial, adjustable leveling screws, glass dome with brass screw cap, and rotating pendulum balls. When wound, it would run for a full year. Original price was $9, value is considerably more today. You may have to put $100 or so into it to get it working, but you won't regret it.
