This little 4.3 inches vase compared to the usual 8 inches or more Kralik vases, is either a sample or a vanity type bottle vase.
This is one of those decors which are found in this shape and also in a dark ruby color, as well as dark green or teal color, I think, in a bottle form, some have the vertical lines and some don't. It is damaged at the rim, most of it seems to have been knocked on something and chipped at regular interval for some reason, there is about a 1/2 inch remaining of the flat rim, so this was meant for study purposes, which was interesting, seeing the inner pale lining glass with an interior blue casing, and the blue and flash iridescent layers, plus the ivory vertical stripes.
It is marked with a small Kralik arch mark, a surprise.
I have assembled some of my small items in the last image, everything is under 5 inches high to 1 inch high. It's a mix of Japanese ceramics, jar by Eiraku and tiny vase by Kutani with their red 3 character marks, and a small green glazed candle holder marked Japan. A Japanese cloisonne vase. A small Bohemian pitcher with worn gilding decor on a yellow and white glass spatter. A combo creamer and bowl in a red spatter glass on white ground. A Ruckl spatter decor in yellow with multi shades, 4.5 inches high, again either a sample or a vanity set piece missing it's top.
It's still a beauty, toss some flowers in it and the little mishaps won't show anyway. It has a nice purple flash on my side that looks amazing!
nice deco kralik!!!
