Hello all. I have been wondering about this chair for a long time. It was my Grandmother's mother's chair, so I am thinking around late 1890's to around 1910. I was told it is an Tiger Oak slat back. Can any one confirm this, or have different ideas about it. There are no markings on the bottom of it
    Thank you!

Sounds right to me - a beautiful grain on the wood. No damage I can see.

No damage at all. This has been well kept. Rocked a lot of babies in it's day
